July

Is July really almost over? This is so crazy! The Last month (ok, year) has been so FULL. I can’t believe we have 2 1/2 weeks till school starts and summer schedule will be replaced with all the commitments of school and the hustle of fall. (Not that 100 degrees feels like fall. Nope, not at all)

Anyhow now that Ive faced the reality of the months ahead, let me give you a recap of the last month!
One month ago, the Lienau Clan set off on their return journey to the West coast. It was sad to say goodbye after 3 months together! We enjoyed having them here with us and getting to hear about all the Lord was doing as they went through the Intro to IHOP program. We sure hope they come back!
We didn’t have much time to mourn their departure because a few days later my good friend Jessica came to visit. She stayed with us and got to spend time pressing into the Lord’s plan for her family and enjoying the Prayer room. It was fun to catch up with her and be encouraged in mothering and the pursuit of being a good wife. She was a blessing to us.

Then Ryan and I celebrated our anniversary and Payton went to his first camp! We all had a blast and a nice 2 day rest. We spent time praying about the next few months and seeking what the Lord has for us.
It didn’t take long to move into the next thing…. the morning after we picked up Payton from camp, we welcomed our first 2 foster children. They are special kids and we Love them. We have an 11 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. They need a lot of extra attention, training and discipling and we are all learning and growing a lot!
Then on July 19th, my brother Jess came for a visit! He came to be a part of the Awakening Teen Camp at IHOP. The kids LOVED having him here.
This Last week while Jess was here we also had another foster girl with us. She was a cute little thing and just two weeks older than Aribella. It was feeling pretty busy with those two always holding my legs:)… there was some real competition going on!
Now we’ve sent Jess off, back to the cooler weather he was longing for and our little foster girly has gone home. We are focused on working through heart issues with the kids, building a new bedroom downstairs and getting everything in place for school. I (Breanne) am getting excited to celebrate the wedding of a best friend Leah in just 9 days!

And now,  Bella has awoke! . . . .and since she is getting her molars I’m no longer free to post!
Until the next free moment :) ,
Breanne

Having lots of fun!

A FEW WEEKS AGO MY DAD AND SISTER CAME TO VISIT FOR ABOUT 24 HOURS. ALTHOUGH A SHORT VISIT, WE SOMEHOW MANAGED TO EAT ABOUT A WEEKS WORTH OF FOOD IN THAT TIME :)
THESE ARE SOME PICTURES FROM THEIR VISIT. DAD, MAYBE YOU HAVE SOME FROM OUR DINNER AT THE FAMOUS AURTHUR BRYANTS?!

IHOPU

Ryan is a full time student at the International House of Prayer University. That means that he spends much of his days in prayer, in service and in study. This is a critical part of preparing us for our future while living out our calling in ‘now’ time. I wanted to give you a glimpse of what IHOPU is and of the new campus that opened up this year. (As mentioned in a previous post, Ryan is currently working on some of the new construction at IHOPU too!)

IHOPU is a full-time Bible school that exists to equip this generation in the knowledge of God and the power of the Spirit for the bold proclamation of the Lord Jesus and His return. Students embrace in-depth biblical training and Sermon on the Mount lifestyles in the context of a thriving missions base fueled by 24/7 prayer. As a result, theological education obtained in the classroom is connected to intimacy with Jesus and practical service and outreach, including works of justice and acts of compassion.

PAYTON

WHOO HOO! We want to congratulate Payton on finishing His first year in his new school program and for completing his big test in 5 subjects! He worked hard to memorize lots of facts in 7 subjects total, including English Grammar, History, Geography, Latin, Science, Timeline, and Math! Great WORK!!!

I just wanted to give a quick update! Its hard these days to have a free moment to post…. with Ryan having the computer at school and Me having lot’s of people coming through the house, its tough to make it happen!

So whats  busy around here?

We have some of our family staying here with us right now and we are LOVING IT! My aunt and Uncle and 8 of their 9 children are staying here with us while they are doing a program here at the House of Prayer.  Three of the older kids are taking the classes with their parents and the rest are mostly here with us during the day. As you can imagine, the boys are loving the constant playmates/schoolmates. As soon as school is done everyday, at least 5 of them are instantly off to suit up in their army gear:) Ill add some pictures here soon when I take them :)

Ryan just finished most of his classes for the year, but has a few classes left on Israel in the next week.  His schedule is crazy busy as he goes from classes to more work, but he has a great attitude. Right now in addition to his regular work, he is working construction on the new IHOPU campus and really loving it!

I’ll keep posting some “catch up posts”  in the next few days :)

Love, Breanne

A Welcoming Entry

I would love it if this were my front door!
I remember sweet days at my cousins house also known as Ragamuffin Farm, when one of the kids would walk right up to the door with the calf in tow. Anyway, this makes me smile and I thought I’d share:0)
